Gandalf the White

In Battles of the Third Age Gandalf the White is a prominent figure, unfortunately you only have the basic Gandalf the Grey figure to represent him. So I decided to create a figure for Gandalf the White myself.
Here is how I did it:

1. Take a North Leader or Elite figure (I got one extra Leader with my main game so no loss).

2. Cut the flag or the spear point from the figure's staff.

3. Add a small bit of moddeling putty to the top of the staff (I used Games Workshop's "Green Stuff").

4. Use a moddeling tool or a pen to make the putty look like the head of Gandalf's wizard staff.

5. Take another bit of moddeling putty and roll it into a small sausage and attach it to the figure's chin.

6. Use a moddeling tool or a pen to make the putty look like Gandalf's beard.

7. Paint the entire model white (I used Games Workshop's "Skull White" color).

8. Drybrush the entire model with a silver color (I used Games Workshop's "Mithril Silver" color).

9. Spray the model with a varnish to protect the color from wearing off.
